Welcome - The Parish Council website has been revamped and is now a source of lots of new information. In addition to general Parish Council information, it also includes direct links to: schools, doctors, airports, rail, emergencies for water, gas etc., flooding, cost of living support, and a 'Report It' button to allow you to directly report Potholes, Fly Tipping, Missed Bin Collection etc., to either HCC or EHDC.

Sunday 19th May 3pm: Farringdon Garden Club present a talk by David Horton, a passionate gardener, keen to inspire others. An outside event at The Thatched Cottage, Church Road, Upper Farringdon. Contact [email protected]  

 

20th May: Shirnall Meadows (Give and Take Traffic Control) for Petrol Interceptor Cleaning (Petrol interceptors are specifically designed to collect oil and petrol from surface water runoff, protecting the environment from pollution. The cleaning process for petrol interceptors involves removing oil and petrol accumulated on the surface of the channel drain).

CHAWTON PARK ROAD: Please allow plenty of time for Doctors appointments etc as South East Water have CLOSED the road between Connaught Road / Beechwood Road until 17th JUNE. You can access Sports centre etc via Northfields Road - be careful there will be an increase in traffic using this narrow road.

SELBORNE ROAD B3006 CLOSED OVERNIGHT 13 - 23 May  2000-0600

M25 Closure from J9 to J10 in both directions from May 10 at 9pm until May 13 at 6am

M3 CLOSED southbound from 9pm Monday 13 May until 6am on Tuesday 14 May between junction 4 (Frimley) and 6 (Fleet)

Barleywood Farm Lane (Gaston Lane) is CLOSED until the 24th July 2025 - see on 'Our Village / ISSUES'  for update (10/4).

B3004 CLOSURE  - NOW OPEN  for 6 weeks then will close again. On 29 June it will close to through traffic again.  Local access will be maintained in both directions during the closure, up to the section of road where the team is working.
