Road Notices

A32 CLOSURE from Brightstone Lane (crossroads) down to Station Road, East Tisted (HCC Road works)

14th April for 5 nights from 8pm - 6am

A31 CLOSURE from Chawton roundabout to Four Marks - confirmation from HCC that the works are being carried out on the main A31 (Winchester bound only), from the A32 Roundabout to the end of dual carriageway, they are currently programmed for the 19th May 2025 for 4 days under a 24/7 closure for resurfacing work.

A32 CLOSURE Gosport Road 8th June - 4th July....The proposed closure of the A32 Gosport Road is for carriageway resurfacing, which will include structural repairs along its entire length between the Telephone Exchange buildings just to the north of Kitcombe Lane, south to the village of East Tisted. The dates shown on the map are provisional, and approximately two weeks prior to the start of the works, a further email and letter drop will take place confirming the exact dates. During the works, the road will remain closed 24/7, with access only for residents who live within the limits of the closure. A signed diversion will be in place for all other traffic.

Pertuis Avenue, Alton will have Traffic Lights from 0930 11th April to 1600 18th April

Barleywood Farm Lane (Gaston Lane) CLOSED until 1 July 2025 - Closure is 14 months old now.

Hall Lane will be CLOSED 7-11July for SE Water repairs.

B3004 - To see where the team is working, the interactive map is kept up to date and can be viewed on the project’s webpage. (27/3/25: Due to a commercial issue outside of SSEN’s control, we have had to temporarily pause work.)

Hall Lane Potholes: they have been inspected by HCC and works are required - no date.
