The Parish Council has given the go-ahead for a new village map to replace the millennium map.

The Farringdon Village Garden has now received funding approval and work will be starting shortly.

Hampshire County Council have agreed to allocate funds to various road and signage projects to improve safety.

The Parish Council are funding a new garden area in the playground  near Parsonage Close.

The idea is to create a beautiful relaxing space where residents can meet and visiting walkers can spend some quiet reflective time in our lovely village.

We are now seeking  more volunteers to help design, construct and plant up the garden. We are looking for keen gardeners, budding designers and those who are handy with a spirit level;  as well as children who would like to take part!  all are welcome!

The Parish Council would like the residents of Farringdon to feel that it is their garden so we really need your input and ideas.

If you are interested in being involved the project is being co-ordinated by Councillor Alison De Ledesma.
